Confide in Hotel Management in North Lombok After Being Sealed by the KPK: Our Image Has Become Ugly

Mataram (NTBSatu) – A number of tax arrears hotels in North Lombok were sealed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Saturday, March 16 2024.

The four hotels displayed red and white banners reading “Notification of this Tax Object Has Not Paid Regional Tax Obligations”.

Responding to this, the Accounting Manager of Hotel Living Asia, Novi, assessed that the banner installation had a big impact on his business. Because it is related to the hotel’s good name.

“If we put it like this, our image will be bad,” he said.

Latest news:

Instead of getting more income to pay tax arrears, installing banners in front of the hotel will actually reduce Hotel Living Asia’s income.

“It’s a bit difficult for us to get guests. “Hopefully the Regional Government will provide some relief,” he hoped.

Novi admitted that his party actually wanted to immediately pay off the tax arrears. However, due to impossible conditions, Hotel Living Asia was delayed in paying its obligations.

“I don’t know what the (banner, ed.) display will be like (the impact) on our hotel,” he said.
